Introducing our Sous Chef, Carla!
Coming from a career in advertising, Carla moved from Ontario to the West Coast three years ago where she then began her career in the kitchen.
What excites you about working at M!LA?
I've been cooking since I was a child, and now to be able to do it for a living in the most beautiful vegan restaurant in Vancouver is honestly just a dream come true.
What has it been like working in the midst of a pandemic?
Working during a pandemic has been incredibly challenging, but working with such a great team through it all has been a blessing.
What’s your favourite dish at M!LA?
The Panzanella Salad is my favourite thing to eat right now. It's one of my favourite things to make at home but Chef Lydia has perfected it.
